We (I went with my family) seated upstairs, outside, and it was the best way to enjoy our time at Sandbar. It was very warm and cozy, still we had the winter fresh air to make it a perfect moment to relax after a day of rain and busy shopping in Grandville Island. Service was perfect and friendly (thanks, Trevor!). Food was also delicious (I had the seafood hot pot with jasmine rice and the lemon cheesecake with berry sauce). I don't live in Vancouver, but whenever I'm in the city, I pick a day to have lunch here - and always have a great time!

Wonderful food and service tonight for a birthday celebration! From my cocktail, our appetizer, the wine, through to the main course…all of it was fabulous. Thank you for a superb pre-show dinner!!

I celebrated a birthday at the Sandbar and was treated wonderfully, even greeted with salutations upon arrival. The atmosphere was lovely, the food excellent, and the service incredible. I would recommend the Sandbar to anyone, celebration or not.
