   The Sunday Dinners that we had were lovely and extremely well presented. The staff were exemplary. All in a very pleasurable experience.

   I booked a table for a birthday meal for a close friend. Our order was taken quickly by a very friendly, pleasant member of staff ( my friend doesn’t like gravy on her meal so asked for it to be served on the side l asked for the same ) the restaurant was busy so we expected to wait a while for our food We had ordered coffee which arrived promptly (the coffee was very good) After about 45 mins our food arrived. Unfortunately both meals had gravy poured over I accepted mine but my friend sent hers back as she wanted hers on the side. She hadn’t received it by the time I’d finished mine( which was delicious ) The waitress repeatedly apologised but when it did arrive the second meal was again covered in gravy We complained and spoke to the manager who again apologised as our request was on their system We were not charged for our coffees and my meal but left disappointed, as my friend went home to cook herself a meal. I’m not sure if we will go there again

   We are a couple the way out way too often. This includes around 2-3 Sunday lunches a month. There's not many places we haven't visited in the local area and this is easily in the top few.

   Food was ok nothing special Service was awful, very slow. The steak sauce was brought to the table as we had nearly finished our food. Hanging about waiting for next course & further waiting for the dessert order to be taken. It wasn’t even busy there.

   Service and food brilliant very friendly also Ladies toilet seat loose And it was cold in there but apart from that amazing and would def go again

    Food was lovely but we specifically came for the mid week roast only to be told that you weren't doing it ? Also it was very cold in the pub.
