Beautiful remodel and view is stunning; however, missed the mark on service and food flavor.

i made reservations for valentines day. when we got our menus it was a special price fix version this wasnt mentioned anywhere when i made the reservation, the source promotes itself as a family friendly restaurant. our meal took 2 hr and 15 minutes. this is way too long. the first 2 courses were fine as far as taste goes but the second course came an hour after we arrived. again too long. what is wrong with the kitchen? the main meals both arrived cold. not just luke warm but cold. we sent them back right away & the sauce was warm on one side of the plate and cold on the other side. the proteins were warm enough to eat but not hot. there seems to be huge kitchen issues getting the food out. maybe they should hire a consultant to help them figure out the food flow. for a resort who wants to be 4 star the restaruant looks nice but doesnt succeed in the food flow or food quality . we will only consider the source in the future on slow nights

Staff were truly exceptional. Very friendly and attentive. Decor was very light and pleasant. Menu is a “book” with far too many pages and no tabs to find the section desired. Food descriptions left us scratching our heads and googling definitions. What arrived looked attractive on the plate but was bland and disappointing. They did have a good number of zero alcohol drinks which is welcome to us. It was an “ok” experience but I doubt we would return until there is a significant menu change.

The food was not good. Grisly burger, overcooked salmon, watery mashed potatoes, flavorless broccoli on, and wet mac and cheese. The waffle fries are good though!

Reservations are pointless. Seated late. 10 tables open. The hostess told people the wait was over an hour despite open tables. Took over 40 minutes to get our food. They will serve the lounge and lobby patrons by the fire before the people with reservations. Our server was never around. We were comped a $5 drink for the excessive wait. Overpriced. Eat in your room or go to the Stonehouse. Superior service.

Keyshawn was a great server. Easy going for our slow pace with kiddos and helpful on the bar menu. We ordered the curry and it was not what you’d expect a curry to be - sowish we had ordered something else. Kids were happy with their chicken strips and fries.

Curry was excellent, best we ever had, service was amazing, super charismatic, steak was comparable to a truck stop dinner. Asked for medium-rare and got overcooked well. Recommend they switch to ribeyes and use a sauce if they are going to over cook steak like a diner. It was tough (not strip tough, overcooked tough) and tough to eat. Convenient for being at the lodge but be careful at what you choose.
