   Super Lunch experience. Staff so friendly, lovely cocktails and wine and a really good menu, so many items we wanted to try... we'll have to go back. Dined for lunch so it was quiet but nonetheless enjoyable, can imagine there is a great atmosphere on a busy evening. Steak beautiful quality meat, perfectly charred and cooked exactly as we hoped. Hope to return.

   Ate here a couple of times as we were staying close by and wanted to eat somewhere convenient after a long day. The Pre-theatre menu was a bit limited but very good value and I had decent steak which was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed a couple of happy hour cocktails which were really cheap. Despite being busy the atmosphere was relaxed and the service friendly and efficient. Would certainly recommend.

   Sadly this was not a great experience. Despite being the first table to be seated, and the second table to order, the food didn't come out together. When it did arrive, the steak was overcooked and the Mac and cheese was cold. The roast was good but the bill of £115 (which included a refund for the Mac and cheese and some money back for the overcooked steak) was a bitter pill to swallow. I hope this was just a bad day as the website promised much more.

   Came here before theatre. The restaurant was relatively busy,nothing major. Waited 30mns to be served a coldish beef Wellington (£28). The beef fillet was tough. Over priced. The fillet was served with half of a grilled shallots and watercress. The price was not justified by the amount of food on the plate,very poor. In fact, the table next to us also complained. Then to finish the evening, asked for a double expresso. Guess what,came cold. To be honest, poor experience, over price. Next time, I'll be going somewhere else.

   We took advantage of the happy hour cocktails before our mains, the short ribs were very generous and the leeks and artichokes were delicious too. The service was a little slow throughout but we enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

   Nice food, good atmosphere, great cocktails and absolutely brilliant service! One of our guests had an allergic reaction (through no fault of the restaurant) to a dessert and the effort they went to to resolve the issue was outstanding. Would thoroughly recommend.

   Pre theatre meal was cooked to perfection, chicken wings were flavourful, steak was on of the best steaks we have ever tasted. Staff brought out a wee birthday treat for my wife which was a lovely touch. If in London again, we will be back!

   The restaurant had a great atmosphere and looked fabulous but it was let down by the food. The Stoke House waiting staff were terrific but unfortunately the food they brought to the table was not up to scratch. The food was competitively priced for London but out of four starters, four main courses and three desserts only the burger was good. The starters were just ok and the pies were sadly lacking in content and flavour plus the steak was not cooked as we ordered.

   Unfortunately, both orders consisted of undersized portions and bland, underseasoned mains. The short rib was insipid, and the cod was cold and disappointing. The onion was mushy and overcooked, and the bread and butter were nondistinct, chewy, and flavourless. I left feeling disappointed and as if the restaurant didn't care about the customer.

    Our mains arrived but without our side order of veg… realised they weren’t bringing them out, so we had to ask for them. We started to eat before the veg arrived but the roast potatoes were cold. We spoke to the waitress who took our plates away. In the mean time the veg arrived. A while later our plates returned with hot potatoes, however my wife’s meal was now missing the bearnaise sauce and the veg left on the table was now cold. I had asked for medium rare and received rare. My wife asked for medium but got medium rare. We lost the will to keep calling them over. We usually tip but we asked for the gratuity that had been automatically added to the bill to be removed. It is a nice venue and the staff were pleasant. Possible we were just unlucky last night. But they do need to up their game.
