   Table booked for 6pm, wasn't ready when we arrived - no apology, just one staff member saying to another "it ain't ready" & being told to wait at the bar. 35 minutes later, after my husband had been up to check again, we were finally seated. Good job we were all having the carvery so getting food was quite quick after that. Food was lovely, very well cooked, tasty & plenty of choice. I don't think I'll be rushing to book again as I'm sure this is the second time we've had a negative experience here. It's a shame as I hear others speak highly of it.

   Excellent food and recommend the apple crumble. Service was fast and waitresses very helpful and polite. I recommend this restaurant.

   Had a birthday today for 2 friends. Always love coming to the swan. The staff are super friendly and nothing too much trouble when asking them To do something for you
