Welcome to our British restaurant and pub, with gardens, in the picturesque countryside of Cornwall, between Truro and Newquay. We offer sustainable British pub food, with a luxury approach. It’s a simple offering but really showcases the best of produce from in and around Cornwall.     We are massive Adam Handling fans, but this little hidden gem was very tucked away in Newquay Cornwall. Every part of our lunch was amazing. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

    We were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff. The food was absolutely delightful as was the setting. Will definitely go again and thoroughly recommend to all our friends.

    Firstly the staff. Absolutely superb - we were well looked after. Food allergies were taken into account and options were explained for each course.. The food - wow - everything we ate was delicious and elevated. The place itself. Incredibly cozy. Overall, a level of excellence that is synonymous with the Adam Handling name. This lunch was a gift for my in-laws and they absolutely loved it. If you have an opportunity to go, do not miss out.

    First time visit to The Tartan Fox and we loved it. 400-year-old pub so I am told, and you can believe it, full of absolute charm from the minute you walk up to and then through the main entrance - beautiful. Greeting from the staff very friendly, service on point and the food of exceptional quality. We had such a relaxing & enjoyable evening; we will be returning.
