The Vig at McDowell Mountain is the 5th member in the Vig family of restaurants and the 11th establishment in the Genuine Concepts family of bars and restaurants. This Vig boasts breathtaking views of the McDowell mountains while featuring 2 full-service bars, spacious indoor booth and table seating and more than ample outdoor facilities for games and activities.
The Vig at McDowell Mountain is in a new standalone building on the southwest corner of Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. The roughly 13,000-square-foot space is designed to take advantage of mountain views with large glass windows and other elements that bring the outdoors inside.

    Second time we’ve been there… server service a bit disappointing. She never checked up on us, was slow to refill ice teas, waited forever for our bill. We tried several times to flag our waitress to come over but never got her attention. It was not that busy.

    We had excellent service with Josh. Sat outside and got cold. Josh got us a heat lamp. He made excellent suggestions to help us order Good food. Great service. We will be back

    Had an amazing time at the Vig last night as well as the night before! . Love it there. Food was great. Music was awesome and our server, michelle was adorable. We asked for her the second night because she was so great . We will always see if we can get in her section in future. Love the Vig

    Pleasant, sophisticated space inside and out. Service by Tori was outstanding. Menu is more limited than one might expect, but quality and presentation are both stellar.

    The outdoor patio was great and service too. I had the cheeseburger and glad it was the Monday night special for $10 as the bottom bun was over-toasted and overall just a cheeseburger. My wife enjoyed her Thai noodles.

    Enjoyable Scottsdale spot. Menu is basic—burgers etc—with good cocktail list albeit expensive. My burger was good but not very flavorful. My wife had prime rib that was very tasty but the au jus sauce was way too salty, almost inedible. Sides were OK with nicely done asparagus. We’ll likely return because we like the environment.
