   Quintessential English pub, with an absolute upgrade in food, wine, and ambience. Dine there on a Sunday evening, and make sure to go to the second floor, and request to be seated by the fire. The Sunday roast is off the charts, and the Guinness is cold and smooth. A must dining experience in one of the most iconic neighborhoods and Burroughs of London.

   Fabulous food, only issue, which is a recurring problem in London since Brexit, is that service is now delivered by people who have no idea about drinks and do not have the right motivation nor background to do this job, thankfully the head waiter still has a clue about what service is . Great food, great menu , but like anywhere else in london be ready for below par service . Not that it matters too much but helps when people with a minimum savoir vivre and education look after you .

   Amazing food - as always. Never fails to disappoint. I had left a request on my OpenTable booking as it was a special occasion, that was ignored. No acknowledgement. Not the place for a special occasion! Service messed up my drink, I had asked for a half rim and they gave a full rim. I also asked for something at the beginning of the meal that I was only given at the very end of my meal. Amazing food. Service could be better.

   We had a delicious Sunday lunch in the upstairs dining room. Exceptional service from Sonny, friendly and efficient. The decor is lovely and it has a great atmosphere.

    Only ever been for a Sunday toast before (which I love) This week I had the gnocchi and it was absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic too.
