AIM Strategies, LLC, is excited to announce their third restaurant in Downtown Topeka.
The restaurant features an upscale American grille menu with items such as: premium cut steaks, Tuscan Salmon, Chicken Fried Lobster, and a diverse selection of appetizers, salads, sides and desserts. Also included are traditional favorites like burgers, fries, and grilled chicken sandwiches. The Weather Room will also feature various handcrafted cocktails and an extensive wine selection. The restaurant is open to the public and welcomes walk-in guests and reservations, and is located at 920 S. Kansas Avenue, within the lower level of the Cyrus Hotel. Operating hours will be from 6:30am – 10:30am for breakfast each morning, lunch served from 11:00am- 1:30pm. Dinner hours will be 5pm – 10pm with a full-service bar for cocktails, wine, and draft beers.

The restaurant had a nice feel and atmosphere to it. The food was pretty good, but the service was terrible. We had a party of 4 and were there for almost 2 hours - the waitress forgot to put in our drinks and then yelled at us when we asked where it was at after 20min, the sides were all cold, one steak came out not done as requested, one of the sides ordered did not come out correctly, they ran out of the whiskey that was on special at 6:00pm. Almost every table around us came after us and some of them were done eating before we even got to order our food. For a $180 bill for 2 people ($350 for the table), I would expect a lot better service than we received. We do not plan on going back, which is unfortunate as we don’t have a ton of options similar to the type of restaurant this is.

The service was excellent. We had the Hail Stones which were good meatballs. I ordered the chicken fried lobster. It was tasty and unusual at the same time. Great batter. My wife had the pork chop. Unfortunately, it was very tough, and the maple bacon was so extremely sweet it was overwhelming. She did not finish it. We did notice other dishes that look good. We had regret we did not order those.

Went to dinner fory birthday and I was very pleased with this experience! Service was great and food/drinks were amazing! No complaints at all. I highly recommend this establishment for all occasions!.
