   On arrival there wasn’t much parking. Greeted ok but the staff seemed stressed in a chaotic environment, we watched orders coming back whilst we waited to be served. Once seated the staff took someone else’s drink order that we saw to be just seated after us. Menu limited with repeated items on specials menu. Food was mediocre. Never seen so much oil drip from a beef burger. Price was not satisfying either. The place seems very confused, mixing dining with Friday night drinkers.

   Food was nice, however took 40 mins for drinks to turn up. Had pre-booked a tables for valentines day however half of the menu had ran out by out pre booked time. Mains came out before starters. Overall service let down the night.

   Valentines Day, meal, overbooked, understaffed, long waits, food quality average, main course not as menu. Staff were aware of the problems but poor excuses. 20% discount given, but didn't really make up for disappointment of the evening. Table reservation showed ours for 6pm and another for 8pm which made you hurried before you had even ordered and certainly not achievable with all the delays.

   The staff were amazing, greeted us on arrival. There only seemed two front of house staff. They worked so hard, but were so cheerful and gave is great service The food was great, well cooked and it was good value for money

   Had a lovely meal and drinks. Steaks were delicious I was informed and my burger was very nice. Lovely atmosphere and a lovely log burner added to it. Fair price too. Staff very attentive. Very nice evening.

   Booked online with open table, easy peasy, and out table was easily identifiable as reserved for our party’s number and time so no confusion and easy to find. The Swan had a lovely welcoming vibe, lights on, warmed by wood burners and lively atmosphere. We were pointed to out table and advised someone would be over to take out drinks order. There seemed to only be two front of house staff that were obviously very busy but were really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks on offer. We could have done with our drinks order being taken before we sat at our table, because they were busy there was a bit of a delay in getting a drink, but it didn’t spoil our evening. Food arrived in good time and was delicious, four empty plates- generous portions, but we didn’t have a starter, and didn’t need a dessert. We lucked in on the last night of an offer, buy a main meal and get a second half price so a very enjoyable and reasonably priced evening out with friends. BTW This is a very popular place and parking is limited, but we managed to find some near the green.

    We went on a Tuesday and had the two meals for £22. It was very good value. The portions of food were well cooked and very big. Had coffee afterwards which was also very good. Will go again.
