Smell the delicious smokiness of Bendigo’s only dedicated steakhouse & grill, where we use local redgum on the grill; there’s nothing quite like the flavour of meat cooked over redgum. The natural smoky flavours and aromas created by this unique timber are something truly special. In the finest tradition of steakhouses, we use locally sourced meat and the very best in fresh, regional produce.

Showcasing 350 wines, including 28 by the glass, including some seriously interesting wines curated by our inhouse Sommelier. With local wines taking pride of place, including some intriguing European offerings, plus a supporting cast of spirits, beers and other beverages, including a decent alcohol-free selection. Cocktail drinkers will be impressed with our seasonally curated list.

    Every aspect of our dine in was excellent. The Staff were very professional, knew the Specials, explained the whole operation. An excellent wine list to choose from and wine by the glass exceeded my expectations, very good purchasing by the Sommelier, well done. We started with the entrees and were very impressive and tasty. We both had different steaks and they were cooked as requested and were magnificent, nothing to fault here. We enjoyed the experience so much that we will return again

    Loved the food. A bit noisy in there but rest of it was great. Servers were attentive. Food very tasty.

    Excellent food and service, we will be back. Small issue was the noise in the restaurant made it hard at times to hear the waiters

    Not worth the money there are places you can eat better food for half the price. There was nothing special about the food the entree was 2 prawns in garlic butter dry as can be the main included a salad consisting of two types of lettuce leaves 2 slices of onion and dressing.There were no condiments the prawns were old and very dry the potato Raton was dry unseasoned for $230 I was expecting a 5 star meal but received a 2 star rate we decided to pass on the dessert we couldn’t wait to leave no more Woodhouse for us

    Lovely atmosphere and ambiance at the Woodhouse. The snacks were delicious and tarte tartin a lovely end to our meal.
