   The Woodside is beautiful and has such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were really friendly from the moment we entered until we left. The food was delicious and we were helped with allergen information. There was no rush to clear up our table and we weren’t hounded for drinks etc. we had a lovely evening and are already looking forward to returning in the new year.

   £45 a head for 3 courses soft drinks only. Reasonable enough, Most of the food was tasty couple of the dishes not up to much.

   We were looking for a light lunch so opted for the Scallop starter and a dessert each. The scallops were delicious and both our desserts were good. My only quibble would be £14 for three scallops but they were really good!

   The Woodside never fails to accomplish serving good food with great service and value. Love the interior design and great atmosphere. Would always highly recommend a visit

    We gad a delicious meal of salmon and crushed potatoes. My husband had sticky toffee pudding which was also very good.
