The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer. We hope we do it well.

I left most of my food as it wasn’t the best, the waitress was slightly cold and I didn’t feel comfortable asking her anything, and I thought it was over priced. Not sure why it’s rated so highly

Table of 3 at 12 today. Our server was excellent. He was attentive and funny. All of the food we ordered was delicious as were the cocktails. We thought it was really good value and will definitely be back

The food was very delicious, the staff recommended us a wine to pair with the food. The food was brought to us very fast. We would have loved it to have some more time between it but no deal breaker. Highly recommended

Really enjoyed our brunch. Staff member who seated and served us was welcoming and efficient. Caesar Salad and Burger & Chips were lovely, and both were served as generous portions with good quality ingredients. Will definitely return!
