Service, neighborhood, and ambience were fantastic but unfortunately that’s where the fun stops. I can’t see myself going back.

We will definitely be dining here again and highly recommend. We have zero complaints from this experience.

                                                                                            Not the home run that it’s been for years. We were disappointed to see that the truffle arancini was removed from the menu. While the lobster version was good, it was nowhere near the truffle version. Only one beer on tap was available, and the orange negroni was average, at best. The dessert menu was pared down to two selections, so we opted to try the ice cream establishment around the corner. While there, we saw another Italian restaurant that we’ll try instead of Timpano next time we’re in town. The entrees were terrific, as always, but we weren’t offered bread, which was disappointing. We left feeling underwhelmed, which was a first occurrence for us here.

                                                                                            We thought this place deserved 5 stars. We were a little late to our 5:30 reservation… about 20 minutes. When we got there the hostess took our name and we were seated within 5 minutes. We started with the Sangria and the Basil Basilica and both were fantastic. For appetizers we had the ricotta spread (which was very good but a little too much ricotta cream), the octopus (very good) and the wagyu carpaccio (which was my favorite!). My boyfriend had the chicken for the entree and I had the Mafaldine. Both were absolutely amazing and will be going back!
