Cute old inn. When we arrived there were two other tables occupied in the dining room which was very nice and for some reason the proprietor led us upstairs to sit in an empty bar. I should have requested to be reseated downstairs. Server was very pleasant and efficient. Food was well presented but flavorless.(meatloaf and brisket ordered)

The challenge of the holiday left them short on food items. Service and staff were nice. Gracious military discount. Good sized portion for value of the food. Good cocktails

Thought it was going to be a good experience the food was lacking so much. I got chicken it was too salty to eat. Husband got bone in pork chop it was okay not 38 dollars okay. Food was over priced for quality. When we walked in and the place was pretty much completely empty I thought oh no! We should have just had a drink and left. We did take the leftovers home but threw them away.

Delish!! Definitely going back. Serving sizes are huge. Brisket was super tender and the greens are a must. Amy was our server and was very attentive but not a hoverer.

Our second visit and Toogie’s did not disappoint. First time we had the fried chicken and braised beef. Booth were exceptional. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. However second trip we were hungry for steak so both opted for the 18oz bone in ribeye. It was great! Perfectly cooked, well seasoned, very tender. The wings in a peach sauce were a great starter. All of the sides and apps were top notch and so is their whiskey list! Enjoyed their Knob Creek pick and the Hardins Creek Boston pours. As always service was friendly and attentive. This is a Bardstown staple!
