Burma (modernized name - Myanmar) is a Southeast Asian country about the size of Texas, tucked between India and China, is a home to various ethnic tribes, a melting pot of beautiful cultures. When it comes to taste-buds tingling cuisines, Burma has a lot to offer.

It has been a passionate dream for Burma-born owners Kalvin and Poe to open a Burmese restaurant to be able to share their culinary culture. That dream came true in 2019 when Top Burmese opened as a virtual takeout only restaurant from a commissary kitchen in NW Portland.

Due to its authenticity, made to order, home-style cooking, and Burmese hospitality, Top Burmese traditional and modern Burmese dishes became so popular effectively evangelizing the masses to become Burmese Food fans.

Today Top Burmese serves its amazing dishes via various Burma themed restaurants.

    I was so disappointed of the food. I’ve been to restaurant in Beaverton which was very good, Hillsboro location was a waste of money. Food was tasteless, charged me for a bottle of wine when I ordered a glass. Don’t waste your time or money.

    This was our first time having Burmese cuisine and it was delicious. Very nice decor and mood lighting. Our waitress was very pleasant.

    What a great place for a date! i asked to make our tables romantic for our anniversary, our waiter set up our table with flowers and heart shaped napkins! He was so nice and funny, and the food! the food was AMAZING! Will definitely be going back!

    It was a quiet Sunday night and I only say 1 person on staff. He was bartender and service waiter. He did a magnificent job and we received at a good pace. The food was terrific and love the robot delivering system.

    Enjoyed a great Sunday nite dinner following the matinee at HART Theater. The food and service were great as always, and the music was at a pleasantly low volume so we were able to converse comfortably, a real rarity I today’s noisy echo-chamber restaurants. Love the robots!
