   Came for brunch. Beautiful space, same as it has been for years. The “fromage” appetizer was out of this world. Unfortunately, when we each ordered the omelette naturale, they went off menu: diced tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes (much less sweet flavor), and the addition of mushrooms which were not listed. All in all, the flavor was quite disappointing—especially for a Highland Park classic.

   My wife and I always go out for a Special Christmas Dinner every years and we always make it a new place to us and try to make it unique. This year I asked a good friend of mine Elizabeth Disch what place she would recommend and she immediately said Toulouse - it was her favorite restaurant in Dallas. That was enough said for me so I made reservations and my first impression was made at the bar while we were waiting for our table when the young bartender made for me the PERFECT Old Fashioned, not many bartenders today know how to make those !!! Then we were seated and Edwardo took perfect care of use from the mussel appetizers to my wife's trout, to my lobster. Trust me we will return many more times. Interesting, I was waiting outside for my wife when we left and an older gentleman walked up to me and we started talking, he said he was from that area originally - he said he had seen it change a lot through the years, he said Toulouse was originally an Ice Cream Shop that he use to go to , he would get an ice cream cone several times a week. He said the area had changed a lot, he said some good, some bad, but he was glad that Toulouse was there, he said he eats there often and is glad they are keep the original building as it was.

   I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 10 years, and yesterday something was missing… food was not great, a little bland to be honest, service was rushed, and for someone who reserved a table, me and my family got a terrible spot in the corner outside, during the windy night and it was cold. Hope these things can be improved so the next time we are back on having another great night in Toulouse@Knox

   The quiche and the chicken were outstanding ! The service is always extraordinary and professional. Let me mention waiters : JoJo and Ali ! We have had the experience of being served by both of these exceptional servers. We are never disappointed in the food or in the service. The absolute best !

   Restaurant was clearly over capacity and the service and food quality suffered greatly from it. Despite a reservation for indoors we were given a bad table that looked to have been hastily added outside.

   We love Toulouse - the food and ambiance are consistently great and it feels like a mini vacation to have dinner here. My only compliant for this visit is that it was my birthday and I had requested a patio table (in front) and the hostess placed us on the side. That was ultimately fine but she was less-than-lovely about it. Everyone else from door to departure was great.

   This was the perfect meal and perfect experience for a small birthday celebration! The staff made my daughter and her friends feel so special, and the food was exceptional! Thank you, Toulouse - we will be back soon!

   Fabulous food and charming ambiance. We were celebrating my nephew's birthday and the waiter offered to bring him a dessert. At first he said no thank you but at my urging agreed to have one. It was beautifully presented with a candle and a smile. After getting the bill I realized they charged me $11 for it. Really!?! Disappointing.

    Delicious menu with a wide variety of excellent choices. All the food was served beautifully. Service was gracious. The noise level is way too much in the dining room.
