Toulouse Café and Bar recalls a Fin de Siecle Parisian Café where you are likely to bump into friends and find yourself in conversations with neighboring tables. At first glance you will notice the bustling activity that characterizes Toulouse: wait staff with wine openers and hot plates of food, people chatting and laughing, the clink of wine glasses… the atmosphere is sophisticated and good moods are contagious. This is my local spot when I want to eat. Stop in for a drink, lunch or dinner and it never disappoints! The staff are always attentive and nice.

Everything was good. Service part is a little weak and needed more training. For example, when served soup, customers might need spoon and bowl, it should be simple and natural as part of service instead of let customers ask for utensils and got fork and plate. Those are minor things. No worries and no need to reach out. We are still happy about food and the live music and all help got from the meal.

The eggs on one plate were overcooked. Poached but the center was solid hard. Some of the food was cool. The server was very nice but he clearly had too many tables. The patio, which is usually my favorite place, was steamy and uncomfortable. We come here a lot and typically love everything. Today, it seemed off but the staff is always pleasant. We will be back.

Many experiences have been enjoyed at this location, as well as on Knox in Dallas. Beautiful store that transports to another place - especially after dark. Always a smiling greeting at entry followed by cocktail and wine service. Gougeres and zucchini chips with lemon aoli are a good start, as is foie, octopus or ....so many good appies. Kitchen has a good hand with fish, lamb and house-made pasta. This evening, we were blessed to have Angelo serving us - so many great attributes with gracious service welcoming us into his home. Ask for him and your visit to Toulouse will be enhanced. Ciao

I love this restaurant so much We had our girlfriends Christmas dinner and the food was wonderful as usual and the soufflés were exquisite!! Every was absolutely perfect!!

Food and service were decent but it was so loud!! We were seated next to a very obnoxious table. We couldn’t even hear each other talk. I was expecting a classy French restaurant, not a loud one
