I think our servers name was Violet? She was wonderful and everything we ordered was superb. The chicken with mashed potatoes and lardons was incredible and the chocolate torte is my favorite GF dessert in Seattle.

They automatically charge 20% gratitude for 2 person on Valentine’s day but then add 5% living wage. I understand the 20% gratitude but it is Ridiculous on the living wage! Should the employer pays for living wage? I’m not if this is even legal. This is the first time I ever see living wage!!!

Another 5 star experience. The ambience was great, the food was delicious and we may have had our best old fashioned there. Made for a perfect Valentine’s dinner with my wife.

The food and service were outstanding! Special thanks to our waiter, Stefan, who make some excellent suggestions for our entries and appitizers. My wife and I were there for Valintines Day and both of us would highly recommend making a reservation and enjoy! We were not rushed at all, which is not how I feel at many restaurants. About dessert, my wife says it may be the best she ever had( I believe is was spice cake with banana flambe with vanialla ice cream ).

It was a great experience. We almost didn’t go because the menu was so extensive but our server made some excellent recommendations based on our individual preferences which was incredibly helpful. The food was excellent, flavourful, and generous portions. The atmosphere was beautiful, intimate, quiet but casual. I wouldn’t suggest taking young children but 14+ would be fine if they aren’t picky eaters and can match their behaviour to their environment.

I had family here from California, and we arranged to meet at this restaurant, which I had been to once previously. I remembered that it was good, and also that it was near Seattle Center, and I had a hunch these two would want to poke around over there once our meal was done, so it was a perfect location. The service was warm and friendly, but never intrusive, and the food was divine. I ordered the "sweet stuff" French toast with caramel and strawberries; nobody else makes it like this, and it was mouthwatering! I also ordered (to go) some "soft scramble" eggs with asparagus and Dungeness crab. It's so hard to get real, fresh crab anymore, what with the overfishing, but my eggs had actual leg segments of crab in them, a perfect ratio of filling to egg. The eggs came with their amazing potatoes, and my husband and I had that dish, along with a small amount of leftovers from my French Toast, for dinner that night. This may be my favorite Seattle restaurant right now! The cherry on the sundae, so to speak, was that when we were finished, we sat and chatted and nobody seemed anxious to kick us out of our booth. Oh hell yes.

The food was good, but everything on the menu is very overpriced and they include a surcharge.
