   Had a great dinner! Mac was our server and really made our experience enjoyable and special! Highly recommend spending a special occasion or date night here!

   I have been here a couple of times previously and it was fantastic. This time the service was lacking. We received our appetizer timely, but we had also ordered a salad which we never received. Our entrées came and the salad never came.  When we mentioned it to the waiter and asked to have it removed from our tab, he just walked away. Didn’t apologize or make any effort to resolve the issue. As we were finishing up dessert, we had not seen our waiter in quite some time and had to wave at him to get his attention while he was just standing looking at his phone. Again, the food is amazing and with this type of restaurant, I would hope the service would be much better.  Really disappointed this time.

   Tris has delivered once more concerning the quality of food. However, the waiter we had lacked a sense of enthusiasm doing his job, he did not go over the specials of the evening, had no recommendations on wine pairing, and needed to get clarification on several questions that I had. In addition, the noise level in Tris is through the roof. My wife and I had a very hard time hearing each other speak even after elevating our voices sometimes resulting in texting each other to better communicate. We were tremendously disappointed to that extent. I believe the growth/popularity of the establishment has gotten to the point where the wait time for your food becomes excruciatingly long. We waited an hour and 39 minutes for our main course. But again the quality of the food made up a lot for some of our other concerns.

   Requested a table by a window with reservations and after 15 or 20 minutes of standing there, eyeing open booths and tables in the front part of the restaurant, we got the dark dreary back room. Perfect example of taking care of their waiters instead of their customers. Chef doesn’t know how to supply his kitchen with enough food to cover his menu! At least half of the time we ordered something, the waiter came back to the table and told us they were out of it. The most annoying experience ever! It was only 8 o’clock reservations! The food was cold and mediocre. Big disappointment for my son’s birthday.

   First time at Tris, I decided to book a reservation for my 4 year anniversary. They left a note acknowledging the anniversary, immediately outstanding customer service upon walking in. Vast wine selection, the food was 10/10. Francisco, our server for the night, definitely delivered an experience we won’t forget! We started with the Korean Butter Poached Crab, a great starter! From the lobster bisque to unique very tasteful wagyu, finishing with a chocolate cake. All a great experience, I most definitely recommend and will be returning.
