   We decided to do Valentines a day later since we had to work on actual Valentine’s Day. We booked for a 4:30 reservation (the latest they had until 8pm. Which was totally fine. We arrived at 4:20 and had our car valeted since there isn’t street parking. Walked in, were greeted right away- seated and within two minutes our server greeted us with water. He took our cocktail order then told us about their Rendezvous for Two deal, which included an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $55. Our drinks arrived quickly and the app followed within a couple of minutes. We did the Pimento Cheese Dip which was great. Then I had the Shrimp and Grits and my wife did the Salmon with Creamy Quinoa. Both portions were great (so much so that I couldn’t finish all mine). We got our dessert to go since we were both stuffed from the large portions. We got the Pecan Pie and oh my goodness it was delicious. Our server was great and super helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

   Food and service were absolutely fantastic! Jack and the rest of his team did a great job of attending to my wife and I during our Valentine’s Day Dinner. Can’t recommend them enough!!

   Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day at this place. I ordered the rendezvous for 2 and I will say everything From the service ; the decor plus food was outstanding! I will definitely be back. s/n try the apple donut mimosa 😋 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Tupelo Honey does not disappoint. My husband and I went for a day- date and we made reservations for about 1:30 pm and we were seated promptly upon arrival. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer and it was delicious. The pumpkin bisque and Cesar salad were quite good as well. We had the Shrimp and Grits meal and the Fried Chicken meal. The Shrimp and Grits were really good, however the chicken came out a bit under-done. The sever immediately got to work on a re-cook and the second meal came out perfect and timely. I was able to finish my meal at the same time as my husband. We had the Banana Pudding for dessert and it was so good I ordered a second one to-go. Very great meal and experience; will definitely be back again.

   Normally, we really like Tupelo Honey Cafe. Admittedly, it'd been a couple of months, but I had a birthday coupon, which prompted the visit. First of all, we had the pimento cheese dip for an appetizer. The dip was good, but several of the chips were soggy with oil. Then, after the food arrived, my wife knocked over her glass and it broke and spilled everywhere. When we mentioned to the staff, they made a half-hearted, ineffective attempt at cleanup, leaving the table and the seat quite wet. Anyhow, we start eating, and my wife's chicken was crazy-tough on one piece. When she pointed it out to the server, they said "well, since you ate most of it," when she had eaten one-third of one piece of chicken. When she objected, they took the plate and disappeared, without a word. A few minutes later, they came back and said it was being remade. They returned with the chicken, and we asked for to-go containers and the bill. Surprisingly, the bill charged for both my wife's original meal and the remake. Which is funny, not just because it was a correction, but because the remake only was the chicken, and not the sides. We got it sorted out, and - using our napkins to dry off the table and seat - paid (tipped 20%, because everyone deserves to eat & pay their bills, even if they have a bad night), then left. John, the manager, was nice and competent, but unfortunately the service was otherwise dreadful. Hopefully that's not indicative of the current state of the place. The food, minus the piece of chicken, was great as always.

    We made a reservation for brunch before attending a show at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. The restaurant was about half full when we arrived. Our party of four was seated fairly quickly; however, we were only provided with two food menus, two drink menus, and three sets of silverware and napkins. It took approximately 10 minutes before a server came to our table to take our drink orders. We requested four waters and a cup of coffee. In the meantime, I had to go to the front desk to retrieve two additional menus and a missing silverware setting myself, as no one addressed the issue. After another 10-minute wait, the server returned with our drinks, and we ordered an appetizer. While the appetizer was served promptly, no extra plates were provided for sharing. When I requested plates from the front desk, I was simply told, “We don’t have them,” with no further effort made to resolve the issue. As a result, our party had to share the appetizer using a single plate. When our entrees arrived, the food was excellent and well-prepared. However, the service continued to disappoint. I did not receive a refill for my coffee, despite only having one cup, and had to request a water refill. Throughout our visit, the staff appeared more focused on chatting among themselves than assisting customers. For example, we observed three employees standing at the seating station talking but not actively helping guests. While the food quality was impressive, the poor service significantly detracted from the overall experience. Attention to detail, prompt service, and a more engaged staff would greatly improve the dining experience.
