A great experience! Great service and a super cute atmosphere. A little confusing on how to get to the tea house but just check in with the front desk upon arrival. Food was good - sweets were a little dry but overall good for pricing and unique experience.

Afternoon Tea at RBG is a great option - and certainly worth a lengthy drive from London. The only criticism would be the amount of sugar in, and on the top of, the scones. The is far too sweet, especially when considering a topping of honey butter, a flavoured sweetened cream, and fruit jam. A plain scone would be far preferable - there’s no need to concoct an apricot/thyme or similar version.

Beautiful little Teahouse. Very quaint and lovely. Had the “botanical tea” which was a good value. The food on each tier was hit and miss. The scones were very dry and tasteless. Disappointing compared to other tearooms we have been to. The “sweet” tier was disappointing too. Not much there.

The instructions to park and get to the tea house are confusing. I almost walked down the long hiking trail with my toddler in a stroller in the freezing cold on ice and it didn't feel right so went back to the main RBG centre. Turns out there is an elevator and tunnel that takes you there. Much better experience to go this route with a stroller. The ambience and decor were amazing, very magical and we were seated right away as we had made reservations. They served our food right away as well as my toddler indicated be was very hungry. The food was good variety of selection. We got the main high tea set for me and a teddy bear set for my toddler. Variety of macarons, Madeleine, sandwiches, fruit. My toddler ate two Madeline's, some strawberries, a macaron and half a scone. Some of the food is a tid but dry but otherwise a really good experience.

Kitchen was able to accomodate many dietary requests- no dairy, and sandwiches were able to be substituted as well, i.e. an extra cucumber sandwich instead of the salmon. There was a completely vegan option on the menu. Very relaxing, and portions were sufficient, we even took some of the pastries to go. Overall, it was a delightful time.

Just wonderful all around. I took my 80 year old mother who is in a wheelchair and it was easily accessible. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. It was just a lovely experience for us both. The building itself is lovely and the scenery is just spectacular We’ll be back ❤️
