   We were there yesterday for my birthday and this place was just magic. We loved the ambiance the wonderful decor, the music the service overall was fantastic. We loved everything that was brought to our table the top dish for us was the mango paneer. Everything from drinks to desserts was wonderful. Would love to visit again.

   Food and service was fantastic. The menu size and variety was a little daunting, but our waitress walked us through everything they offer and made some some excellent recommendations. My only complaint is the music was much louder than it needed to be.

   Urban Maharajas is one the best fine dining Indian restaurants I have been to. It’s an affordable place where you could go for celebrations. We went there for Diwali dinner and we were not at all disappointed. It is not your regular Indian food where you get heavy on spice/oily food. It’s a very subtle clean food. It definitely hits the spot. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Again.. not your typical Indian restaurant. Loved it!

   We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Urban Maharaja! My husband and I were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The servers were very helpful while we were choosing our dishes. Everything looked good so it wasn’t an easy decision 😊. We ordered the Maharaja salad, mango chicken masala, Rohan Josh lamb, saffron rice and naan. Everything was sooo good but we couldn’t eat it all so we took some home. The next day we couldn’t wait for lunch when we could finish the rest. We enjoyed the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant too. It’s great for a date night or a night out with friends. We’ll be back with friends next time so that we can try more dishes. They were also doing a good business with their take out. This place is a winner!

   Probably the best Indian food I have had in Toronto. A great varied menu with amazing flavours and many options for all dietary and taste preferences. The breakfast menu looks great - not yet tried. I have now had both lunch and dinner here and have greatly enjoyed everything I have tried. I suggest if you are not of Indian heritage and don't know where to start on the menu ask a server to assist you. They are all knowledgeable and helpful. I look forward to eating there now on a regular bas

   The server missed one item in the order then came back and started blaming that we didn’t order it when the whole group of 7 people said, we ordered it. Mistakes happen but owning and a simple apology sometimes go a long way. A very bad experience in front of our clients was not much appreciated. Food took longer than usual to arrive and some of the responses we got from server were, it will take long, cant do anything, it’s the burner that has to work.
