   It had been a while since my last visit, and the salad bar was as expected. The staff was present, but not particularly busy. The meat came around occasionally at first, but then the frequency decreased. For a full dinner service, the prices were comparable to other restaurants. I had to keep prompting for the meats, refilling the bread and sides, and drinks. This will be our last visit here; there are far better value and service options at other Brazilian restaurants.

   I didn't expect much honestly just somewhere to eat before a concert. Showed up at 5 to grab drinks, waited 15 mins while they setup the bar. We then went to our table where we ordered another round that we never received and we were never explained about our options or how things worked. We then flagged down a very nice man who explained everything and then got us a bottle of wine, I wish I knew his name! A manger came later and cleared our plates (I think he was a manager) he got our dessert order and the creme brulee was awesome! We then tabbed out with the same server who was so helpful. After we were done the first guy showed back up trying to tab us out but we explained we already paid. We then left and half way to the show at att stadium my phone is blowing up from an 817 number so I answer and get accused of walking my tab. He demands I check my bank account and I see I was charged $214. I tell him that and he then asks what I was charged for lol how would I know??? 😂 This was a very odd experience that could have been salvaged but the phone call tipped the scale from OK to very bad! I would honestly avoid this place, the food was not worth the price tag.

   We loved everything about this place! The people were so welcoming and kind ….very clean, lovely decor. The salad bar was delish…the meat started off as not my favorite but as it kept coming it got better. The rest of our party loved all the meat so maybe it was just me!

    We were vacationing in the area and saw a Brazilian-type steakhouse near our hotel and decided to try it. We were able to get the first reservation as soon as they opened and were the first seated. This allowed us the first try at the well-varied salad bar. Nearly every selection I made at the salad bar was delicious. I say nearly because they had mint jelly available, so I took some to go with the lamb that was listed among the meats to be brought around. I thought the dark flecks in it were ground mint leaves. I wasn't aware that somebody thought mixing a ground pepper high on the Scoville scale would "enhance" the flavor of the jelly. Instead, it totally obliterated the mint flavor and that of the lamb. Once my taste buds recovered, I tried the lamb again sans mint jelly. It was ok but a bit gamey for my taste. I don't want to say this as a negative for the restaurant, as this was the first time I ever tasted lamb this way in a restaurant. In fact, the only time was when I personally undercooked a lamb roast. So I believe the reason for the taste was likely because we had such an early seating, the lamb had not cooked thoroughly, or didn't have time to properly rest after cooking. All of the other meats were delicious and tender. Cooked just right and spiced accordingly. My fiancée did have a margarita with her meal. It was delicious, though the bartender did have a heavy hand on the tequila. So if you are a teetotaler, ask him to go easy. The price was a bit high, especially considering this restaurant is right in the middle of beef-raising land. Most places we dined at were relatively lower than our home and offered larger portions. As compared to Brazilian Steakhouses at home, VB was a little higher. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
