Velo cafe is a standout dining experience. The food was expertly prepared & the service attentive. I got the sweet potato appetizer with whipped goat cheese & candied figs. It was a delicious combination. My husband enjoyed the pasta entree & I enjoyed the lamb chops with course chopped mashed potatoes. The flavors were scrumptious. However, the portion size of the lamb chops was small. They said it was 4 baby lamb chops but the portion based on the thickness of each chop was comparable to 2 lamb chops. Due to the fact that I had a filling appetizer & a heaping portion of mashed potatoes, I was full after I completed my meal but next time I would provably order something different for my entree.

Absolutely delicious. We loved everything. We always forget about Velo for dinner. We come all the time for breakfast. Just had dinner the other day. It was outstanding!

Despite having a beach home only blocks away, this was our first time visiting Velo Café. The service was excellent, the ambience lovely (we ate indoors because it was a little windy that night, but outdoors would’ve been nice as well). I had the seafood pappardelle with blush sauce as a special, and my husband had the salmon. Both were delicious. We shared the chocolate bomb à la mode with strawberries, and it was yummy. We will return and try the breakfast, which we’ve heard is also fantastic.

Cute little cafe that turns into a fine dining restaurant at night. The food was fabulous! Best salmon dish I ever ate! Definitely will be back.
