   Absolutely the best Italian restaurant in Hendersonville! The veal piccata, the chicken marsala, and the lasagna were all delicious! Can’t wait to return.

   My favorite restaurant! We’ve never had a bad meal there. We try to go a few times a month. I come from NY and know good Italian food. THIS IS GOOD. The staff is great. We always ask for Michael, but everyone is friendly and attentive. Prices are competitive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

   Sadly we were seated near a party that was drunk upon entering and just got louder. Lasagna had tons of onions not mentioned in the description and little pasta noodles. Waiter was in such a hurry spilled water all over the table. Advised it was an Anniversary and seating was in the middle of the room not very romantic. Disappointed is the best description. Perhaps in a different situation it would have been enjoyable but all the negative of loud drunk party and food being uneatable due to the onions made it a 3. Hostess was very nice.

    AVOID IF GLUTEN INTOLERANT! This place had almost no options for someone needing specialized diet, and didn't OFFER any. No GF pasta, no GF pizza (although they claim to import water from NYC to make their pizza). Not even any RISOTTO! The only options were a salad, the special -- steak and potatoes --and veal oso bucco, a regular item on the menu (which was very small portion in a lot of sauce, very over priced.) That was tasty, but that patron had no way to soak up the sauce it was served in. The server did not offer any alternatives or express regret for lack of choices. He took forever to bring the first course (salads), and had to be asked to bring bread for those at table that wanted it. He seemed distracted, as if he didn't really want to be there. Those who did consume pasta had home made lasagna, which was said to be very good, and penne a la vodka, also enjoyed. Two in our party were locals, and may return at some point. The gluten sensitive diner and partner will definitely not return.
