Via Vite is a modern Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati on Fountain Square with the largest outdoor dining space in the city center . Our menu features Chef Cristian Pietoso's creative Italian cuisine using the best local and imported ingredients available. We have private rooms available for all size groups and types of events.

Your $95++ ticket includes: First Course: Choice of butternut squash soup or bicolor beet salad. Second Course: Choice of gnocchi with duck ragout or risotto ‘Amatriciana.’ Third Course: Choice of halibut cioppino or prime beef filet.     Via Vite is one of my favorite restaurants so I’m sad to say I was disappointed in my service at dinner yesterday. I booked the reservation a month in advanced for 6:15. A week before I called and asked if it can be pushed to 6:30, whoever answered the phone was very stern on telling me it could not be changed and I’d need to be on time. When the day comes (Christmas Eve) we show up at 6:10. They say the table is not ready and we waited until 6:45 to be sat (we were offered champagne while we waited). I had requested a table upstairs and that was ignored because we were sat downstairs. My coat was not offered to be placed in coat check while I stood and waited 30 minutes for a table I was told I needed to arrive on time for. The food was very good but was disappointed that for even a table of 2 it needed to be auctioned off to us. A small detail like remembering who ordered what food is appreciated especially when paying around $90 a person here. Unsure when I’ll be back.

    Me and my mom came here for Christmas Eve lunch. The person who called the day before was so sweet and helpful. Our server was beyond exceptional, friendly, and so helpful. The food was amazing! Thanks for making Christmas 2024 so special. Buon Natale!

    The food, service, and overall ambience without standing as usual. The one thing that makes this restaurant stand out more than all others in the city is its dark chocolate creme brulee!!!

    Our server was lovely and managed our table of 6 “very Merry” ladies like a gracious pro! The food was excellent and was well timed! Hadn’t been there in awhile and was quite impressed with the menu and service, particularly during the busy holiday season!
