We are a local, independent restaurant giving diners a touch of charm and elegance but also with a casual and inviting atmosphere. We strive to offer diners a friendly, accomplished service and, most importantly, an interesting high-quality menu using fresh locally sourced ingredients wherever practical and possible.

Vegetarian as well as fish and meat dishes are a standard feature on the menu. Kent’s farmers and growers feature strongly as our main suppliers of organic and free range poultry, meat and other fresh produce.

Kent vintages feature heavily on our wine list along with a wide selection of wines from around the globe.

    We had a delicious meal, great service and it was such a lovely atmosphere. I am coeliac and the owner Robert was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The quality of the food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend.

    It was a surprise to learn the business model has moved from fine dining to gastro. I liked it the way it was and am not a fan of the new menu or dishes we ordered.

    Since changing management this place has gone severely downhill. Service still good but good is very poor.
