Food came out too quick to be fresh and some courses not warm. Very expensive considering its just decent pub food.

Booked for 3pm we were offered choice of 2 menus when we arrived after deciding on Sunday menu we went to order to be told Sunday menu stopped at 3pm! Why offer it then. Food ok but not substantial and didn’t find that reasonable. Cheaper and better quality options are around local area

Options were poor on the chefs table, pudding options were like what you'd have for breakfast and main Sunday roast was much better when carvery was an option definitely not good value for money, won't be going again unfortunately as had good food there in the past.

Service wasn’t the best and the food was even worse me and my friend had to send our food back (burgers) as they were not cooked, awful!

The new style Sunday lunch, which was NOT made clear through advertising or point of booking is a big let down from previous menu. Small starter choice, plated lunch with reheated shrivelled vegetables and served Luke warm. NO dessert included just brunch items like muffins to select. At £15.95 a person this is very overpriced especially as a Marstons restaurant adjacent offes far better value for money. After making a complaint to customer services, I am really disappointed by the return email response. We chose St Davids as a special occasion birthday meal choice and can honestly say I would not recommend to others.

Good food and service, we used a 50% off voucher which made the meal excellent value, not sure if that would be the case at full price. The new layout is more of a sports bar type area, less suited to the older generation such as us, but there was a quieter area towards the rear of the restaurant. Service was prompt and efficient.

Tried the new Sunday lunch/brunch today, both thoroughly enjoyed the variety of starters and sweets, we both chose turkey for main, was lovely turkey breast meat and selection of veg, very good value for money
