   Whenever we visit Vegas, we stay at The Palazzo and always dine at Wakuda. The food and service are outstanding! Try the chef's omakase and trust the servers to introduce you to a variety of specialties, the miso sea bass is one of our favorites, and the wagyu steak served flambé style is delicious. The cloud dessert is a sight to behold, but our favorite is the miso soft serve ice cream that tastes like salted caramel. Must definitely try the lychee martini with the wakamomo peach!

   Our server provided outstanding customer service. This helped elevate the food experience. The Japanese Cheesecake was very good. The sushi and the rolls were average.

   Eight of us arrived at 6:20pm for 6:00pm reservation and they gave our table away and told us we were SOL. I confirmed the reservation thru Wakuda’s text at 1pm same day. No other text or call the rest of the day. Horrible, horrible, treatment.

    QUICK REVIEW: Outstanding food, service. Prices are high, but worth it. Ambiance - depends on where you sit, but the decor is amazing. Solid 4.8 Stars. Would we go back? YES. LONGER REVIEW: We are Vegas locals who got together for a family dinner and picked Wakuda. SERVICE: Seated promptly at reservation time, but at a less than desirable table. Right at the junction of where people enter in the main dining room. Vincent - our main server - was Outstanding. He was there when you needed him with great advice to boot. Food service was well paced. FOOD and DRINKS: Lychee Martini, Red wine by the Glass (nice selection), and a Yokohama Old Fashioned. Very tasty. Wine and Sake list is extensive. All to Table Share: Unagi Roll, Wagyu Roll, A5 Wagyu appetizer, Gyoza, Salmon, Shrimp Skewers and Wakuda Wings. Very, very yummy; everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. We did share two desserts, don't miss the Shaved ice with ice cream. OVERALL: YES, we would go back. The only downside was the table - even though we requested a booth and made the reservation 30+ days ahead of time, we had probably the worst table in the restaurant, and the manager could not reseat us. That being said, the Food and Service - with the decor - more than made up.
