   Sushi was very, very fishy tasting. Other food was incredibly salty. I was a bit surprised I had heard the food better than what we experienced

   Food was great. The menu is heavily weighted on sushi, which was fantastic. The rest of the menu is tapas and good if you’re looking for a light dinner.

   Pelham is great for the view and our server Lili was also wonderful! I had eaten at the rooftop several times and the food was pretty bad but Waves is new so I had wanted to give it a try. The food was so terrible and the cocktails were underwhelming. We didn’t finish any of our plates- and left more than half on most. I will likely go back for the view and a glass of wine (can’t mess that up) but not the food. On top of the food being terrible, it felt pretty over priced.

   We went for the appy hour and were pleasantly surprised to find the Gray Whale Gin promotion happening at the same time. Our server Bridget was very informative and attentive, explaining the different drink promotions and making sure we were taken care of. The flatbread was delicious and the ribs outstanding. Can’t wait to return. The Gray Whale drinks were fantastic as well.

    Waves at the Pelham house is an absolute must! You can’t get a better view of the Nantucket sound in a peaceful, upscale atmosphere . The gas fire pits lined along the grass overlooking the Nantucket sound create an ambience unsurpassed on the Cape. Unfortunately the night of my birthday celebration was foggy after a rainy humid day. Val, the manager of Waves for the evening went above and beyond to ensure my desires were met. I arrived an hour earlier to have a celebratory drink with friends, and Val assured me when my party arrived I had the choice of eating outdoors, or indoors. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating in a way that had never been offered to me before the cape. We decided to eat inside in the sea level dining room. It was incredibly quiet, calm, and enjoyable for a party of eight to have dinner and enjoy conversation while still overlooking the beautiful gas fire pits, and knowing the Nantucket sound was just outside. All of the food we ordered was delicious! We had a few bottles of the Sancerre, again delicious! (don’t worry, Uber was utilized!) Every staff member was incredibly kind, gracious, and accommodating. To top it off, the live performer from the pool area was placed indoors due to the inclement weather… So it was like we had our own private concert indoors. The entire evening was incredibly enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable from start to finish. I attribute all of that to Val and her team !! I always frequent the Pelham house for a meal or cocktails… And I can’t wait to go back! Thank you for creating a memorable 50th birthday celebration on Cape Cod!! The Pelham House is a definite destination for my every Cape Cod trip!
