   My family and I had lunch at the white lion. There is a great menu, we all had something different and all really enjoyed the meal. The service was very friendly too.

   Wonderful friendly service and delicious homemade food. Dog friendly inside and a garden at the back away from the road. We will be back without a doubt.

   Another lovely meal at the White Lion. Good, wholesome and tasty food at reasonable prices. I had the cottage pie, which came with fresh veg and my friend had the Fish and Chips. We were very happy with our meals and had room to finish with ice-cream. Service is faultless. We are recognised as returning guests and will definitely be back again. Thank you

   Fantastic food and very nice and polite staff. would highly recommend. Only issue is they asked if we would like salt and pepper, which we did, but they never came back with it...

   The food was not as good as the last time we visited. The calamari wasn't a salt and pepper version as stated on the menu, just normal batter, which was also very, very greasy. The young girl who was our waitress obviously needs a lot more training. Hopefully, she is new to this role, as she was clueless. Please give her the training she deserves.

   Went to the White Lion for dinner last night & pleased to say it was back to how it used to be. The ambience, decor , service & food was all good. Met & spoke to the new owners Brandon & Lucy and wishing them every success We’ll definitely return again in the near future

   Although service very attentive the food was very disappointing- fish was dry inside the over cooked batter , gammon so over cooked was very chewy, Out of the 5 diners only 1 thoroughly enjoyed & that was the Mac & Cheese I was celebrating a birthday & staff obliged with bringing out a birthday cake.

    This pub/restaurant is once again under new management. However nothing has changed. The service was very slow and the food was cold. We have ordered starter (shared platter) which arrived fairly warm but mains were completely cold (burger, steak and warm Mediterranean salad). Even my espresso was cold. What a waste of time and money.
