First and last time. 1) Outdoor Patio is in a parking lot with minimal separation from vehicles. That should have clued us into what was next. 2) Reservations for 6:30 pm. The first appetizer we ordered was 2 Lotus Flower dishes. We told only 1 dish was left/available - so we ordered only the one. Then, 5 minutes later, we were told they were totally out. 3) We ordered 4 other appetizers, which they mixed up. Brought us the wrong order. So, they corrected the mistake. Interesting that 2 of the dishes were the same (Mushroom Calamari) and the two dishes were presented in totally different dishes. And the flavors of all appetizers were bland and dull. Very disappointing. 4) Two of the main course meals we ordered were Sea Bass. The butternut squash sauce was very good, but the broccolini was limp and overcooked - and the Sea Bass itself was mushy and horribly "fishy" tasting. Nothing what a good Sea Bass should resemble. 5) The gluten-free Ravioli main dish ordered was a salt lick - a cow would have been pleased. We will need a gallon of water to wash that down. 6) The bus-boy attempted to remove our appetizer dishes before we were even finished. Interestingly oblivious. But maybe we should have let him, as he would have actually been doing us a favor. 7) The small portions of food for the price was insulting. For a $300 meal (for 4 of us), this was one of our most disappointing meals yet in Palm Desert. There are so many great restaurants in the area, we strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

We had a wonderful evening dining outdoors at Aildest! Everyone loved their food and the vegan in our group was very pleased with his dish!

Food is best in the valley. All of our meals were delicious. The deserts were also great.

The food was good but not great & very expensive. There are other places we prefer for the expense. Menu is a bit limited. Not planning on going back anytime soon.

My husband and I have been coming here every year since it’s opened whenever we are in town for the Indian wells tennis tournament. As soon as I walked in last night I could tell something was off. The place looks run down (bar stools are ripped) and didn’t feel clean. The food was always impeccable. We always order the cauliflower app. It came out completely deep fried which is not the usual. We ordered the squash blossoms they were soggy and stuffed with too much cheese, also deep fried. Presentations were bad. We ordered a steak medium it came coated in sauce and it was completely raw inside. My husband and I left hungry and woke up hungry today. They clearly changed chefs and everything just feels cheap, sloppy and heavily breaded and sauced up. Our meals always used to feel clean fresh and healthy. The wine was good, the bartender was sweet. We left sad and disappointed. Won’t be back.

Interesting menu choices. We loved all of the appetizers we tried-squash blossoms, shrimp and cauliflower. Lamb done just right. Nice server. Decent wine list. Next time we are in town we will definitely return to explore more of the menu.

Food and service were both excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals and had many things on the menu they were choosing between. Had to adjust the reservation and heard back from them right away and worked out an accommodation easily Server was very gracious and efficient Outstanding experience
