Wildland is an all-day restaurant, bar and bakery inspired by the natural landscape and vibrant community of North County, celebrating the creative culture of California by bringing bold ideas to timeless traditions.

Night or day, this is a place for the every day.

We open daily at 8am, with counter service up until 4:00pm, inviting you all to come in and join us on a first-come, first-serve basis for breakfast and lunch.

Reservations are available every evening, and walk in guests are always welcome.

Private Dining Room reservations are available for parties of 12-18 guests.

For parties of 12-18, Wildland’s Private Dining Room offers a pre-fixe special menu for $85 per guest. Featuring deliciousness from every section of the Wildland menu and served family-style, you don’t have to make any decisions, cause planning a big group is hard enough as it is, right? And if you’re into it, additional beverage packages are available and can be selected upon booking. One thing to note, is that our Private Dining Room is indeed separate from the main dining room, but it is not a quiet space. A $25 deposit per guest is required at booking, which will be deducted from your final bill. Tax, gratuity, and additional beverages are not included in the menu price. A 20% service charge will be included on your final bill.

Wildland will be one of our go to restaurants in Carlsbad. The food is unique with the mix of superior spices, presentation, and excellent quality. Corinna was exceptionally knowledgeable, pleasant, and friendly. She guided us as she described the dishes and provided an opening to the expected experience. Without a doubt we will return again, and again, and again.

Dinner at wildland is always great. The staff is very polite and willing to accommodate you and the food is always amazing. They are able to provide options for me as a gluten free person and the mafaldine gluten free pasta is amazing. Highly recommend!

The setting is really open and lovely. The servers were quick and attentive. The mushroom pizza was delicious as was the steak. The anchovies in the pasta sauce wasn’t a bit hit but still enjoyable.

I went to Wildland with friends for dinner last night and loved it. The food and service were excellent. We ordered Prosciutto Toast, Charred Maitake Mushrooms, A Very Green Salad and Rigatoni. We also had the Venetian cocktail and Sangiovese wine. The cocktail was served with a massive quantity of ice. I would order it up next time. The food was fabulous and fresh. We loved the mushrooms, toast and salad! The only odd thing was the anchovy in the Rigatoni. The pasta and oxtail were delicious. I like anchovy but adding it to an oxtail and pasta dish wasn’t good. It was very fishy and strange paired with the oxtail. There were so many other things on the menu that I want to try that I will definitely be back.

Our server Jared was knowledgable when it came to recommendations for our dinner courses. He made our experience at Wildland all the better to be honest. The food was phenomenal and the drinks even more superb. We will most definitely be returning customers to Wildland. Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu! They all sound so delicious! Absolutely worth that 34-minute drive up from San Diego!

Alyssa was great along with the whole staff that served us. The bar tender was very sweet and brought us a punch bowl and made all of our night. The food was so amazing! I had the grouper and man that was probably some of the best fish I have had.
