William’s is a multi-award-winning seafood restaurant, fishmonger, delicatessen and caterer in the heart of Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

A veritable Cotswolds institution for over forty-five years, William’s has recently benefitted from a full-scale refurbishment of both the restaurant and shop area in January 2020.

Alongside a 64-cover new restaurant sits a new fish counter displaying an outstanding range of fresh seafood, delivered daily from Scotland and the South West coastline. The adjacent delicatessen offers a large selection of chef-prepared meals, cheeses, charcuterie and terrines as well as fresh fruit and vegetables.

We are proud to have been voted one of Matthew Fort’s ‘Five Favourite Places to Shop’ and one of Rick Stein’s ‘Food Heroes’.

All courses were absolutely delicious. Well seasoned and presented, with great flavours. The two fish dishes I had (tuna starter and prawn main) were melt in your mouth. Friendly and attentive staff too. Highly recommend.

Habitual returner : enjoy eating at this fish restaurant. Always look for Catalan stew : fab : am sure rest of menu on offer equally good but Catalan stew meets all my expectations. Don’t take it off the menu.

Extremely tasty Catalan fish stew and sticky toffee pudding from the 2 course fixed menu. Staff were friendly and attentive. Relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.
