As chef and owner Murat Ovaz describes his restaurant, "Much like classic Turkish food, Yagiz brings people together. I wanted to create an unpretentious atmosphere, where refined dining could be enjoyed in a warm and vibrant atmosphere with no fuss. Expect to experience all the flavours of Turkey with a modern, unique twist."

Yagiz offers a 5 course degustation menu as well as à la carte. Our interesting wine list is open-minded with an emphasis on lesser known Turkish wines as well as smaller Australian and European producers.

Absolutely delicious food and a wonderful variety. Service was the best I can remember any where. Knowledgeable abbess attentive but not intrusive. A great night out.

Great Turkish food including dips and exceptionally well cooked meats. Wine list was expansive, we indulged in a couple of bottles from Turkey.

Upon my original visit to Yagiz around its opening month I was especially impressed by the original dishes and flavours. It was also good on a followup visit a few a years back however I feel the standard dropped a couple notches on my most recent visit in 2023. Service was lacking professionalism and attentiveness. Dishes were below our expectation overall. Hope to come back again one day and hope it see it in its former glory shape.

We chose the DOYUMLUK fill me and it certainly did! Was a great way for a lot of wonderful food and different tastes and textures. Definitely going back but disappointed they had no Raki Cocktails on their drinks list.
