   Love love love! So glad this place is back open. The menu is more extensive and the food was incredible. Obviously the cocktails are as good as ever :)

   Zanzenberg Tavern is treat for food, and if craft cocktails are your choice of drink, its perfect. Wine list needs a lot of help/ A little noisy. But it was a Saturday night packed house, and one table had the volume turned way up in their joyous and humorous conversation. It's an, if it is not fresh, they won't serve it place, so the menu changes each time we have visited. A big plus is they use OpenTable so a reservation can be made and you don't have extended unexpected waits. A full staff, but some young ones that have to seeks answers to customer questions, that hopefully are gaining knowledge from their experience. We will go back.

   Lovely brunch in the gardens. We enjoyed French toast & Croque Madame. Both were amazing!!!

   Food was superb, with the exception they were out of numerous items on a Saturday night, including french fries with the burger, gumbo. and fried chicken. The food we got in lieu of was superb with the exception of the NY Strip which was pretty thin. Drinks were very good and a decent wine list, although they were out of our first choice by the bottle. Service was slow but it is expected with a new place. I hope that will improve. We will go back after giving them a few weeks to get their act together a little bit, but it could be one of the best new restaurants in The Hill Country if it takes off.

   We thought the food was very good, but the service was terrible. Definitely understaffed, and we felt rushed, as they had a lot of people standing by the front door, like they wanted us to hurry up and leave so they could seat another table. We will give it another try because the food was good. Asked what we wanted for appetizers before we even had water or cocktails. We did not order dessert or a 2nd glass of wine.

    Stellar service. Delicious food. Great drinks. Wonderful dessert! The November TX weather was on point for lovely and romantic outdoor dining. We love Zanzenberg Tavern!
