   Zazu was a wonderful dining experience, my wife and I felt as though we were on a date! The ambiance was elegant, sophisticated and well designed. The menu was interesting and featured an Ecuadorian influence, both historic and modern and our dishes were delicious. The attention received from Zazu's staff was excellent and refined. The wine list ranges from the most sophisticated to local Ecuadorian wines. For all the above, Zazu was very reasonably priced! Zazu is not to be missed when in Quito Carlo Zaskorski, architect.

   Everything from amuse bouche to dessert was excellent. They were accommodating to a guest with food allergies and the prices were half what they would be in the US.

   Was expecting more. I did the tasting menu and wife got a few a la carte items. Staff was nice enough. Food was good, but overall it feels overpriced. Lots of foreigners (unsurprisingly). I wouldn’t go back. Not much character inside / pretty sterile decor. Drinks weren’t interesting - just traditional cocktails and wine.

   On Christmas Eve, my daughter and I had the tasting menus - me veggie, her with meat. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. I highly recommend, and thank the staff for making it a very special meal.

   Enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner. I did the vegetarian tasting menu and wine pairing w8th all south American wines. Very good pairing. Family got duck, chicken and beef which was all very good. Service was very attentive. Recommend as a nice meal in Quito. Prices are similar to the US.

   Everything about this restaurant was lovely. This service was spot on. The fish delicious. It was close to our hotel, which was very convenient as it was a holiday in Quito, and it was hard to get around. It was recommended by our nephew who lived in Quito for a while. He was right

   This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. One night in Quito on our way home from Galapagos trip, and tour guide recommended Zazu. I enjoyed the Vegetarian tasting menu, which combined local ingredients in creative small plates - the Roasted Cauliflower, and Risotto with Sweet Potato were delicious and the last plate with mushrooms, barley and poached egg had an incredible sweet & savory blend. My husband’s grilled sea bass was tender, moist & flavorful, with mussels & claims. All dishes were beautifully presented. Service was excellent!

    Would not recommend this place to anyone. Service was terrible. They forgot to put in our entree orders when we ordered the appetizer. Then they waited another 20 minutes and came back only to say they didn’t have the entree we wanted. We spent over 1 & 1/2 hours there with just appetizers and drinks. Absolutely ridiculous! And no remorse or empathy from the server. The restaurant only had a few other customers at this time as well.
