this place. Left there 4 hours ago and still fired up over how places like this can stay in business. Super basic food, server was not bad at all, but my god was my family treated as if we were just another cash grab. Spent $300 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 8 yo. And never stopped ordering food and drinks from moment we sat. Yet we were told that our 2 hour time limit we had was up, keeping in mind it took 20 min for someone to acknowledge us at our table. Left 20% tip because wasn’t the server I was upset with. She was actually attentive. But couldn’t believe a restaurant with such flat and basic food was telling me TO LEAVE while I was waiting for my $300 bill. Bizarro world experience.

Despite a very busy boat parade night, this restaurant delivered on all counts. Outdoor patio was warm and provided great ambience. So many great and healthy choices on the menu, all offered at reasonable prices, particularly for Newport waterfront.

My favorite place in newport - Lido beach. Food , service, ambiance are excellent. Great place for brunch as well . Favorite dishes quiche leek and gruyere cheese, lasagna green, steak and fries, potato gratin , burger etc

The food came out all at once when we had ordered some appetizer separately. And then it was cold by the time it came out – – it felt like they were holding it to bring it out all together or it was just sitting there. The server did not check on us even once – – they seemed stretched. We wanted to have the heater turned on as we were freezing. The location made up for some of these lapses.

A beautiful setting on the water in Lido, and my personal favorite place to go for Grilled Branzino (fish). A great place for a date night if you want a quiet place to chat, have a bottle of wine, enjoy the view of yachts on the water in Newport Beach. Also great for friends and family too! I live in Laguna Beach and am eager to make the drive (or Uber/Lyft if drinking) to return here for a beautiful and delicious evening. Thank you Zinqué’ for a great evening!

We had the most charming server and the host gave us a special table with a view ! 10 on 10 across the board! We all had steak frites and shared a bottle of wine. Perfect Day

Great food and ambiance. It was Thanksgiving which may be why the service at our table was terrible. We had 5 different servers and none were talking to each other. Will try again but not on a holiday.
