    Made reservations for 9pm got there 10 minutes early and they said it was a 2+hour wait. I went to use the restroom and a girl said she had been waiting since 6pm and still hasn't been seated. We left and never ate.

    Came for reservations on time for 9pm, and they tell us they’re still sitting 7pm reservations and it’s going to be at least an hour. We didn’t wait and left.

    Did not honor our reservation - was there early and still was told there would be a 45+ minute wait. Was also told I’d get a text when table was ready… never received a text.

    Made a reservation for Valentine's Day and when we showed up, I have never witnessed such an unorganized and unpleasant experience like I did that evening. Especially at an upscale Sushi Restaurant like RA. Upon arriving at our reservation time, we were told it was going to be an additional 30-45 minutes. Another person asked if they were accepting walk ins or if it was all reservations and the host advised everyone had reservations. It was clear at that point that they way over booked themselves to a point they could not control. An hour went by after arriving and I asked the host for an update, she said it was probably going to be another 15-20 minutes. I then asked how long the kitchen was taking to get food out and she said an hour to an hour and 20 minutes. At that point we went ahead and just left because it was already an hour past our reservation time, and it was still going to be another 15-20 mins to get sat and then another hour to an hour and 20 to get food at which would have been nearly 3 hours after our reservation time. This was such a disappointing experience and ruined our Valentine's Day dinner. There was zero organization of the reservations. So many people like us, just left. For the quality and reputation of RA, this was extremely disappointing and honestly shocking experience. I would expect something like this from like a local small restaurant, not RA Sushi at La Encantada. Not to mention the poor girls at the host stand were so overwhelmed and were getting berated by angry guests for managements poor choice in overbooking the way they did. Definitely know now to never try to make reservations here for a special occasion ever again. I would give a 0 out of 5 if it was possible.

    Made a 7:30pm reservation for Valentine’s Day. Made the reservation on Jan 26 for Feb 14. Got to RA at 7:25 and was told that reservations are 35-40 mins behind. Waited for 1.5 hours and was told that it would be another 30 mins. Apparently RA overbooked reservations that day which makes no sense. Needless to say, very poor experience, especially for a special occasion.

    We made a reservation two months in advance for a 7pm dinner time for Valentine’s Day. The table wasn’t available and we did our best to give them an opportunity to find one. We found a way to sit at the sushi bar, even though the seats were technically unavailable. We ate and the service was great. The notice that our actual table was ready, finally came at 9:22pm. They clearly overbooked on a night that people would appreciate a smooth night.

    They were in over their heads. Having made a reservation several weeks ahead of time, we arrived to RA a few minutes early for our 6 pm reservation. The restaurant was packed for this Friday, St. Valentine's Day evening, our anniversary. We were seated after a few minutes, the drinks arranged, and our orders taken. Then nothing, for an hour and a half. The staff was apologetic but nothing could overcome the obvious chaos in the kitchen. As all previous estimates from the kitchen had passed unfilled, we left and got takeout at KFC. It is clear that something had gone wrong. No evil intent, but something had gone wrong.

    I was well aware of a possible delay due to the day being Valentines Day. So we arrived early as the day before we were informed that if we were more than 10 mins late, they would cancel our reservation. We arrived early and checked in at the hostess station. It was a birthday celebration for my daughter and they were nice enough to allow us to bring a cake. They gladly accepted the cake and placed it in the fridge for us. Upon check-in, they informed us there could potentially be a 15-20 min delay because of the day. We appreciated the heads up and agreed to wait the additional time even though our reservation was for 6 pm. (We checked in at 545pm). The line for checked in proceeded to get longer and longer. We checked back in at 620pm, and we were told the table we were waiting on to leave were almost finished with their meal. We were patient. It's Valentines Day, of course. We checked back in again at 645pm, asking for a status update. The hostess stated that the one table we were waiting for had been there 3 hrs now. They just got served their last plates! Just crazy... so we asked if this was the only table that could accommodate us. They said it should be any minute. We go back outside and wait. At 710pm, I proceed back to the hostess stand. She states they just left, and they needed to clear the table. At 730pm, we finally got to our table. The hostess was very friendly and busy, of course. We order drinks, and she brings them out. We ordered promptly. 45 mins later, our appetize came out , and our sushi didn't arrive at the table till we had been sitting there 1.5 hrs. The food was slightly warm and just mediocre. The sushi rice was hard and just didn't taste fresh. The overall evening was just a mess for food that was just ok and underwhelming. Maybe it would be better on a less busy night. But this was our first experience at RA, don't know if we'll be back. We will probably stay with Oban, downtown Tucson. They are the best Sushi in town!

    I had high expectations for this place the ambience was phenomenal But the food was not so great. Ordered the filet mignon chicken and shrimp came out very bland. Unseasoned had to wait 15 minutes just to get some soy sauce and salt. I did some TikTok research on this place before eating there ordered some of the sushi they had on videos came out looking nothing like the presentation they had put on video. I paid closer to $$325 for food that was bland and unflavored could’ve went to a steakhouse for the price we paid
