   Had a great dinner. Service was impeccable. Must order the chargrilled oysters. Better than the ones I have had in New Orleans. The Bolognese was a pleasant surprise as well as the short ribs.

   We dined at Rebelle before going to the Tobin. Shared several appetizers - all were delicious especially the mussels and meatballs. Service was great. Glad to see they are still providing a very good upscale downtown dining option!

   Wonderful piece of steak was very flavorful but unevenly cooked. Had to return to the kitchen after which my medium rare steak came back less juicy than the portions I had eaten earlier that had indeed been medium rare. I feel a steak place should be able to uniformly cook a steak to the same temperature throughout the steak. No apologies were provided for the lack of consistency.

   I had higher expectations for this restaurant. Not what I had in mind, when I saw the picture on google it looked like a fancy restaurant, but it looks like they just took an open space, brought in some tables and chairs and put up some pictures on the wall and went with it. Service was mediocre. I am sure help is in short supply, but it could be improve. The food was good, I had the half rack of lamb which were actually four lamb shops lollipops, on a a very salty whole garbanzo beans soup, with some spinach. The lamb was cooked to my satisfaction, rare to medium rare, the way I like it. they had a great flavor and they were tender. We had the leafy salad which was fresh and flavorful. My wife had the scallops, and she seemed to enjoy them well. THE ONE THING I COULD NOT GET OVER WAS THE SEWER SMALL IN THE RESTAURANT, YOU WOULD THINK MANAGEMENT WOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, or at least mask it with some Fabreze. The sinks don’t drain in the man’s restroom, big red flag. Over all, we had an okay experience, there are only a few choices for a decent dinner before the show, so we are always looking for a nice restaurant, Not completely eliminating this place from our list of evening restaurants, so I will probably give them another chance. But I will probably ask to be

   Really looked forward to our meal as first time in San Antonio. Service from our waiter was excellent but the restaurant was so loud we had to move. Encouraged to have the Tuna Tartare which seemed not right and both my wife and I up all night with stomach issues. Expected the food to be better for price and always disappointing to visit a “better” restaurant to have other guests in shorts and backwards caps.
