Food was not rushed and arrived hot at the table. They servers were very friendly and made us feel well taken care of. Steaks and pork chop were tasty. Hash browns were wonderful as is the Mac and cheese. The ice cream cake that came for the birthday boy was amazing and is worth it at any price. The Best Places to Grab a Drink in Atlanta This Summer
Though you won’t catch a local calling this city “Hotlanta,” there’s a good reason it earned that nickname—and it’s not just because of the muggy weather. Atlanta is a hotbed of exciting bars, consisting of laidback dens and sceney haunts. From lounges with award-winning cocktail programs and wine lists to taprooms with beers brewed on the premises, here are some of the bars most beloved by Atlantans.
Discover Thomasville
Each year, the city of Thomasville hosts a Rose Festival and draws thousands of visitors from nearby towns. The local restaurant chefs and servers gear up to provide a wonderful time of food and fellowship. After a taste of down-home Georgia cooking, the guests are rarely disappointed. You can come to Thomasville throughout the year to tour Pebble Hill or stroll along the downtown streets that are lined with old Victorian homes and locally owned restaurants. You'll always be able to get a good meal at one of the steakhouses or seafood grills. Cajun food is well-liked in Thomasville; some cafes even offer French beignets for a sweet taste. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, you'll find plenty of options in town, from new American to Mediterranean cuisines. Otherwise, bring your appetite for beef, chicken or possibly even duck.
