- EEdVIPDenver / Colorado •24 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful evening and the ships Tavern with great food the service was great but the big drawback is the condition of the Brown Palace is deteriorated considerably over the last few years only one toilet in the men's restroom on the main level was working, a lot of the paints chipping in woodwork is pretty beat up it's looking old and tired. Oh and they've jacked up the valet parking prices for the holidays and through January.More infoShip TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / LoDo•4

- BBreannaChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI took my boyfriend here while we were visiting Denver to celebrate his 30th birthday, and I’m so happy with our experience! We enjoyed the octopus appetizer, ny strip and ribeye steaks with whipped potatoes and brussels as sides. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I’m typically not a fan of octopus but it was so tender and well executed I wanted to order a second plate of it. Steaks were perfectly cooked to medium and very flavorful. Brussels were phenomenal. Service was friendly and competent, we loved that the plates were brought out by some of the chefs who also made sure to wish my boyfriend a happy birthday. We finished the meal with an affogato with brown butter ice cream, yum! Only thing I can say is that it was rather chilly inside and we didn’t love the music, but those are easily overlooked by everything else. You’re going to spend money coming here but it’s a must for a special night in Denver!More infoGuard & Grace - DenverPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / LoDo•4.8
- VVictoriaDenver / Colorado •26 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTea at the Brown was a very special family memory, as always. Beautiful, friendly service, in this beautiful, historic hotel that is such a Denver treasure. The longevity of the staff is part of what makes this experience so exceptional. I look forward to seeing the same people time after time, year after year, and they always remember me and my children. There's an institutional memory of history and tradition that only long-term staff can maintain. Thank you to the entire tea-team for many happy family memories!More infoThe Grand Atrium at the Brown PalacePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown / LoDo•4.5

Discover Denver
Believe it or not, there's more to the Denver food scene than the famous Denver omelette. This Rocky Mountain metropolis is home to some of the best chile rellenos in the country, green chile posole and Venezuelan arepas. The Mile High City is a real melting pot of food cultures, with Ethiopian cuisine, classic steakhouses, risotto your grandmother would approve of, farm-to-table bistros and tiger wings. With a thriving food cart culture, whether downtown on the 16th Street Mall, in Larimer Square or in the River North Art District, you will find plenty of innovative cuisine right on the streets. Denver is one of the sunniest places in the country, so take advantage of sun-drenched rooftops and outdoor dining. Don't leave without visiting a couple of the vibrant neighborhood cafes and farmers' markets.
