- DDavidFresno / San Joaquin Valley •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe experience was phenomenal. A beautiful TGIF! celebration. Our waitress created a friendly unrushed experience that topped off our week with a grand celebration. King Salmon was great, and we topped everything off with two great French 75 Cocktails, and a Lemon Bundt Cake. A memorable evening!More infoMax's Bistro & BarPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Fresno•4.7
- KKellieFresno / San Joaquin Valley •1 review4.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting atmosphere that feels both cozy and elegant. The décor features a blend of modern and rustic elements, with soft lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful accents that create an intimate yet lively setting. It’s the ideal spot for a romantic dinner, a celebration with friends, or even a relaxed family meal. The bad thing was we had separate checks, i paid with card and my friend paid with cash, they mixed our bills up and mine was the higher one. Other than that great place. Definitely give it a tryMore infoBraised KitchenPrice: Expensive• American• Tulare•4.5

Discover Visalia
Visalia is one part rural retreat and one part mountain mecca. The surrounding wine country and neighboring national parks have resulted in an abundance of rustic dining options. The menus in Visalia show great depth with American gastropubs and Italian, Danish and Mexican restaurants sharing the same street. Sample beers and sodas alongside gourmet pizzas, or have a glass of red wine with your short rib ragu pasta. Locals like to start their day with authentic aebleskiver (aka pancake puffs). Elevated seafood entrees such as abalone and swordfish are an ideal way to celebrate a special occasion. When you just want to kick back with friends, you can't go wrong with Mexican classics like quesadillas.
