The food was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our evening overall. However, the experience interacting with one of the female staff members was terrible. We were sitting outside at one of the tables on the beach. When we were seated, we were informed of the $25 pp additional charge for this table, and we were fine with that. The couple next to us was seated right after us, and I heard them being informed of the same charge, which they accepted. When their check arrived, I overheard one of them arguing with the female staff member (she may have been a manager) about the fee, claiming that they were never informed of this fee (which was a lie)! She then proceeded to tell them that she would waive the fee "this time", but that next time they would have to pay it. My wife overheard this as well, at which point she went inside to question the female staff member about this, and ask if our fee could be waived as well since the female staff member was waiving it for the table next to it. At this point, the female staff member lied and said that she never told that table that she would waive the fee!!! We had just heard her do that a minute prior, and yet she was lying about it. My wife corrected her and told her that we had just heard her say that to the table next to us, and the female staff member then told my wife that we were lying! This female staff member is dishonest, rude, and unprofessional, and has no business being in a customer-facing position. She should not be speaking to paying customers that way! Our bill came to $577.92...We don't expect to be treated that way whether we're paying $5.00 or $577.92! While the food was delicious, I'm not sure that we will return as the experience we had with this female staff member is unacceptable.

Our 2nd experience here and likely our last. There was only one other table inside when we dined around 7:30/8p, usually a bad sign. Service was not great, our server felt very timid and rehearsed. Ordered the special, the fish portion size was small and the plate was mostly filled with rice. Everything took forever, especially for a restaurant that wasn’t busy. A lady came in mid dinner and a scene escalated over the cost of wine, staff admitted that they brought her the wrong thing but they must not have refunded her money because this went on for quite some time. She even came back after leaving to take down names. The whole dining experience in general just felt bizarre.

The prefix menu for NYE was not worth the money paid. Felt like it was a meal that really could have been served at any of the many other restaurants on the island for a much more reasonable price. Nothing to write home about.

Our table was outside overlooking the marina and it was very nice. The food was presented very beautifully and the service very good. I would recommend them.

Four Flamingos was advertising a Prix Fixe menu for New Year's Eve and the restaurant appeared to have decent reviews. Our experience failed to meet expectations. When we arrived, the host addressed us as if we didn't have a reservation, offering to seat us, which tells me that they were under-booked. We also noted that while their site listed a dress code of "Business casual" we were the only guests there dressed even close to business casual, most barely met the "resort casual" standard. The food was pretty good, though nothing that knocked our socks off. I had the tenderloin "snack", ceviche as my starter that was overwhelmed with plantain chips, and the fish for the entree. Good food, but offset by the overall experience. There was a very long lag between being seated and being met by our server, who appeared to be the only staff taking orders for the entire restaurant. There was then another lag before our food was served, but once it started, the courses were served very quickly. Except dessert, which was also delayed for some unknown reason. I was very put off by the final bill. the dinner had been advertised as $125/pp, but a 20% service charge had already been added for just the two of us. Including the price of a single cocktail, our total bill came to $346. I did not add any additional tip because of the service charge. My baseline criteria on any experience is "would I do it again." In this case, the answer is a firm "no." Very poor service, surprise junk charges, incorrect restaurant info (we would have rather been in shorts!) overwhelmed the experience of decent, though not outstanding, food.

We dined at this restaurant for breakfast every morning and several dinner sittings. Food was consistently good and service also very good. Staffs were all friendly as well. The crab cake benedict and the pancakes were our favorite for breakfast. For dinner, we enjoyed the Swordfish dish, Tuna tartar and the corn bread with whipped honey.

An unexpected and fantastic way to end our week in Key West. The food and service was top notch. The key lime pie won our unofficial week long taste testing.
