    Initial service was slow (5 minutes) before server came to table. We were at Roy’s last May and Roy’s in O’ahu last June and both experiences exceeded this one. It could have been the selected menu that was a detriment to the experience.

    Thanksgiving dinner was a major disappointment. Turkey tasted like ham, stuffing was mush with celery and spam flavor, no gravy on potatoes, no bread, pumpkin cake. I expected much more.

    Seating was not in the main dining room and next to a large group of approximately 20. The were very loud. Service was sporadic. We had to ask multiple times for glasses of ice for our wives wine. We ask 3 times for additional gravy for our thanksgiving Turkey dinner. It never arrived. Unfortunately, the turkey needed gravy as it was overcooked and dry. The overall experience was less than expected for a holiday meal with friends.

    It is a very good restaurant but we ordered for 2 year old girl noodles plain and we had to pay 19 $ that is too much!.

    Everything we expected from Roy’s. The Canoe Boat appetizer was sized for the table, cocktails were great, Mac-Nut crusted Mahi Mahi is the best.
