   Found an error with our final bill. Total on check did not match the final bill after credit card was taken. The amount was $40.00 higher. Alerted our server and it was adjusted. If I was not paying attention to the final check, I would have added a gratuity on top of the $40.00 difference. It was a slow evening with only four or five tables occupied so more care should have been taken by the server.

   This was our second trip to Ruth’s Chris and both times have been better than expected! The food was fabulous and the service phenomenal! We cannot wait to make another trip to Columbia and indulge in a stop here

   It was our 21st. Anniversary and we celebrated in Columbia. Ken was amazing and made us feel extra special and was so thoughtful of our celebration.

   My server, Ethan, was great. He kept checking on me and did a great job. I had a long day and just wanted to eat a good meal and then go chill in my hotel room. It was SO loud but I kinda just tuned that out. What I couldn’t tune out was how bad the food was. I ordered the Filet and Shrimp Pice Fixe that came with mashed potatoes. My steak was medium instead of medium rare, the shrimp were WAY overdone to the point that they were dry, and the potatoes… oh my goodness… I could pick up the whole thing with my fork. It was so bad I took a picture. RC is usually really good. This was the worst RC experience I’ve ever had. I would have given straight 1 star rating except that Ethan did a good job. I didn’t complain because I had a long day and didn’t have the energy for the drama. I ate it and left. I’m likely to try somewhere else at the next convention.

   This Ruth's Chris location is a disaster. We arrive on time at 5:00, We were seated about 5:05. It all went downhill from there! We sat for 10-15 minutes before getting water and cold bread. Finally our waiter came by and we ordered everything as we had a concert to go to at 7:00. We ordered the BBQ shrimp and a salad for starters. The shrimp came out right away but were room temp at best. We then waited and waited. At 5:45 we flagged a manager down and asked about our drinks we'd ordered from the bar and our salad. The salad come out about 5:55 and our first round of drink showed up. We went ahead and requested another round assuming based on it taking almost an hour to receive the first ones. I will say the entrees came out about 6:15 and were ok. The filet was a little on the tough side but cooked properly. We didn't feel like we were being singled out for this poor treatment as many tables around us had similar waits. I couple of ladies sitting at the table next to us actually had worse than we did. My final comment is that the appearance of the staff was less than ideal. Lots of greasy hair and sloppy uniforms. Over all it was a poor experience and the next time we're in Columbia SC we will certainly find a better restaurant.

   We were a party of 7. We waited 30 minutes to be seated for our reservation. They were crowded but service was super slow. Waited forever to get drinks. When food finally showed up, some items were either undercooked, read raw, cold, or didn't arrive at all. Our previous visits to Ruth's Chris have been the best steaks we've ever eaten. Ours was below average. A big disappointment.

   I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Ruth Chris! Not only was the food outstanding, but we had an awesome waiter named Ken. He was one of the best waiters we’ve had!

    Good experience at local Ruth’s Chris for standard fare Thanksgiving meal. Friendly but busy staff, beverages expensive but overall reasonable for Thanksgiving reservation. Would do again.
