All three orders were fabulous. The rigatoni gorgonzola with chicken was outstanding, as well as the pasta alla salsiccia. They make their own pastas which taste wonderfully fresh.

About the restaurant
***We do not take reservations during regular service but do offer them for Valentine's Day weekend, February 12th-16th. On all other days, please just stop in and we will seat you as soon as possible***

Fishing pub meets restaurant. This bustling neighborhood restaurant specializes in oysters and other seafood dishes. Using nothing but the freshest ingredients, Chef Taylor Thomas creates seasonal food. The Walrus and the Carpenter also serves wine, smart cocktails, beer and cider. It makes an ideal after-hours hangout spot. Enjoy some fried oysters with a cold beer, surrounded by cozy rustic furnishings. If you prefer an alternative to seafood, look no further than the steak tartare, which comes with thinly sliced rye toast and egg yolk. Launched in 2010 to rave reviews, The Walrus and the Carpenter is open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

We hope to see you soon! Until we meet at the table....

Mexican
Belltown / Pike Place Market
About the restaurant
For generations, molinos have served as celebrations of the most honored culinary tradition in our Mexican culture — nixtamal! Translated from the native Nahuatl, nixtamal is the production of corn dough, or masa.

The molineros’ millenary artisan techniques in the nixtamal process are the foundation for creating all great antojitos — the craveable snacks sold by street vendors all across Mexico.

Our mission is to preserve and promote the beautiful, bio diverse treasure that is heirloom, non-GMO Mexican corn. We work directly with local, small-scale farmers to ensure our grains are sourced in an ethical and sustainable way. Our authentic, fresh, small-batch recipes allow you to experience your favorite Mexican dishes the way they were meant to be — the same way we enjoyed them as kids!

By introducing the Seattle community to our traditions, we hope that you'll fall in love with them as much as we have. Thank you for being a part of this journey. We w

Restaurant Week is still going strong, and we were so excited to finally try The Melting Pot. My kids absolutely loved the hands-on experience—from appetizers to dinner to dessert—it made the whole meal much more fun. We originally didn’t plan on getting dessert since they served us so much delicious protein that we couldn’t finish it all. But in the end, we gave in—and wow, it was worth it! My daughter is already asking to come back for her birthday! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed. And even though the restaurant was packed when we left, the booths made it feel cozy and private. Here’s what we tried: ✅ Mac and Five Cheese Fondue ✅ Chicago Deep Dish Fondue ✅ Caprese Salad ✅ Meat Lovers Fondue ✅ Vegetable Fondue ✅ Chocolate Explosion Birthday Cake (a must-try!) We have to come back to try the different cooking styles for fondue! So far, we’ve had Mojo and Cast Iron Grill, but next time, we’ll be trying: 🔥 Coq au Vin 🔥 Court Bouillon 🔥 Bourguignonne If you haven’t been to The Melting Pot yet, put it on your list! It’s such a fun and unique dining experience—perfect for a special occasion or just because.

Pizzeria
Capitol Hill / First Hill
About the restaurant
We opened our first pizzeria in 2004 in the burgeoning Capitol Hill neighborhood. For months before we opened curious onlookers poked their heads in the former auto body shop, and outlandish rumors spread. One person saw a team of masons reportedly flown in from Naples to build a gargantuan wood-fired oven, someone heard that the bricks also came from Naples rich with Vesuvian ash, a reporter ran a story about a taxi driver leading our owner down a dark Neaopolitan street to meet a talented Pizzaiolo who was then whisked to an airport….

As it turns out almost all of the tall tales are true – on opening night people lined up for the authentic Neaopolitan pizza and since then our ovens have only gotten busier. Via Tribunali has been called "more authentic than the pizzerias of Naples," and even though that is a flattering exaggeration it is fair to say that our pizzerias have grown out of an almost unnatural passion for the food & wine of Southern Italy.
