We are locals providing local flavor in a casual space. Our specialty is Fire. GALLO71, is a tribute to a Grocery store, El Gallo Abarrotes founded by the Chapa Family in 1923 in Monterrey, Mexico, thus the name. A tribute to regio´s carne asada take.

The food is good, good ambience, but the waiter was so insisten recommending us the plates with the highest prices, and recommending us extras without telling us it was an extra charge. It is very obvious they want to have you with a big account. That kind of actitud is not a pleasant experience.

Fué descubierto hace 500 años y con esto se dieron los mayores cambios en el mundo formando así una gran ruta marítima que facilitó el comercio e intercambio entre continentes. Mar del Zur engloba los sabores de la ruta que recorría la Nao de China desde el sureste Asiático hasta México. El Chef Eduardo Palazuelos, hijo de la famosa banquetera Susana Palazuelos y dueño del restaurante Zibu en Acapulco Guerrero, ha sido galardonado con una serie de premios, entre ellos el Pochteca de Plata por la Secretaría de Turismo y en ambos restaurantes por tres años consecutivos, el más alto reconocimiento de calidad para empresas de lujo en México, el Five Diamond Award.

Great experience! Just at the entrance, the man that received us was a little rude about our reservation, but the rest of the staff was amazing, they received us with a “Hi Barbie” and everything about the place was pretty good
