Always an excellent visit. Stunning interior appointments. Numerous dining rooms keep it intimate and quiet. Wait staff all trained well and very knowledgeable of their offerings. It continues to be our special place for important celebrations.

Service staff was wonderful and attentive to detail. Cocktails were perfect as were salads and sides. The salmon was wonderful but the filet was dry. This was not mentioned to the staff as the restaurant was slammed with banquet business and wasn’t important. We would return on a less busy night.

Red Board Tavern & Table is led by Executive Chef Craig Schmidt, a Northern Californian who went on to acquire a Culinary Arts Degree from San Joaquin Delta College. Then, Chef Craig added additional degrees in Baking and Pastry at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. This was the perfect pre-Christmas meal with my family. It was fancy with white table cloths but had a home town feel that was cozy and warm. The live music really added to the Christmas spirit. But most of all, the chili with pupusas was incredible. 10/10 recommend.

There is even an in-house florist at Cheeves Bros. Steak House, which makes it the perfect location for a romantic evening with your special someone. Just be sure you bring your appetite. Cheeves Bros. Steak House doesn't do small portions. One look at the prime NY sirloin strip should make that clear. The butter rum scallops and bacon wrapped scallops are both delicious options, too. If you like surf and turf, you can't beat the crab cake tenderloin.

Incredible service, amazing food, knowledgeable and attentive staff, beautiful location and interior, One Thirty Five is the number one place for fine-dining in the Waco area. Christopher, the Bar Manager, was wonderfully knowledgeable of their wine and pairings, and personally curated a dinner and its pairings for me and my girlfriend’s date. Truly, it was an amazing experience all around and made for a very special night. I would HIGHLY recommend One Thirty Five to anyone who is looking for the perfect place to impress your significant other, or who are looking for the best upscale dining in Waco.
